Landscape Foreman:
The Position: We’re looking for landscape installation crew members. Full and Part Time work available. Pay scale is determined by ability and experience but starts at $18 per hour. Retirement and benefit packages available.
Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Team player.
- Enthusiastic and dependable.
- Able to lift/carry materials up to 50lbs on a regular and consistent basis.
- Drivers must have a valid driver's license as well as a willingness to complete driver qualification and
pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to lead and work effectively on a crew.
- Execute scheduled jobs.
- Installation of plants, edging, softscapes/hardscapes, and mulch.
- Proper job-site cleanup.
- Ensure the proper care and safety operations of equipment at all time.
- Maintaining a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests and customers.

The Position: The Landscape Sales/Estimator/Designer is responsible for creating professional landscape designs, estimating, and partnering with our crews and support staff to ensure the completed project meets or exceeds customer expectations. Seeking organized, self-motivated and passionate applicants with a strong sense of design, industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills!
Responsibilities:
- Manager of customer relationship from initial project design through implementation
- Develop landscape designs
- Prepare landscape project proposals
- Work with installation crews to achieve 100% customer satisfaction
- Retail sales support
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated and loyal
- Experience with plants and landscape design
- Great communication skills
- Organization and project management skills
- Have the ability to multi-task and work within a high pressure, deadline-driven atmosphere with
very long hours - Willingness to be trained in sales
- Working knowledge of plant material and hardscape
- Ability to create dynamic landscape designs OR willingness and desire to learn how to design
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and like dealing with customers
- Enjoys an atmosphere that is driven by goal setting.
- Must be able to work well individually and in a team setting.

Lawn Care Technician:
The Position: We are looking for a motivated Lawn Care Technician to join our team. We provide comprehensive lawn care services to businesses and residences. As a Lawn Care Technician on our team, you operate mowers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, and other common tools to create and maintain carefully manicured outdoor spaces. We are especially interested in candidates with prior experience in landscape maintenance, ground maintenance and snow removal equipment operation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate lawn mowers, weed eaters, and common hand tools to trim grass, edge lawn areas, and maintain nearby plants and foliage.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining energy and pace along with the team.
- Operate leaf blowers and gather grass and hedge trimmings for removal.
- Drive a truck to various client locations and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport.
- Winter work available as well.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Able to lift upwards of 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with common lawn and landscaping equipment.
- Prior experience or work in lawn maintenance (preferred).
- Reliable and self-motivated.

The Position: The Office Manager/Bookkeeper will handle Thomas Tree & Landscape's day-to-day financial and administrative tasks. From accounts payable to accounts receivable, along with all payroll and bank reconciliation management, this role is a vital part of Thomas Tree & Landscape’s trusted management team. The Bookkeeper will also be the main point of contact for customer billing questions.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Relations
- Human Resource Activities
- Retail sales support
- Record day-to-day financial transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Monitor financial transactions
- Process accounts receivable and payable
- Process all checks
- Update and manage all ledgers
- Process payroll
- Prepare annual reports for accountant
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Experience with bookkeeping and accounting software (QuickBooks)
- At least two years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements and documents
- Experience/knowledge related to landscaping, plants and construction build process is a plus
